Unless grandfathered to 2014 (see prior posts), the Affordable Care Act requires all insured and self-insured plans to provide comprehensive benefits for preventive care with no copayments, deductables or coinsurance when such care is provided in-network.

Health care plans with a plan year commencing on January 1, 2011 are required to extend parents’ coverage of young adults under 26 years of age.
